Dead Man Walking

Day 2: Dead Man Walking

Reading: Romans 5:12-21; Ephesians 2:1-5

Devotional
You can look prosperous, appear successful, even seem happy—yet be spiritually dead. This is the condition of humanity apart from Christ: dead while walking, dressed up but lifeless. Adam's sin brought death to all, but Christ, the last Adam, brought life. Before salvation, we were corpses animated by flesh, going through motions without true life. The sermon reminds us that spiritual death isn't always visible—people can have good marriages, successful careers, yet remain separated from God. Examine your life today: Are you truly alive in Christ, or just going through religious motions? Spiritual vitality isn't measured by external success but by intimate connection with the Life-Giver. Where do you need resurrection power today?
